Construction update - June 2024

  • We have started moving our site welfare facilities into the Greenhouse at Bedminster Green as part of our partnership with Bristol City Council; helping prevent vandalism and bring life back to an empty building.
  • The brickwork to most elevations is nearly completed and scaffolding is starting to come down around the building. We have installed barriers to provide a safe route to East Street for residents and shoppers, while we complete the lower ground floor ahead of the highway works which will begin in September this year.
  • We have been involved in a number of community projects including SouthFest and The Big Give. We are also looking forward to the First ResidentsBS3 Heritage Project and Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade.

Construction update - November 2023

  • The project is on schedule, with the façade works now at level 2, internal fit-out progressing to level 4, and windows installed up to level 7.
  • The roof slab is also now complete which is a significant milestone, and means there will no more large concrete pours.
  • Over the next quarter, the scaffolding will completely encapsulate the building to allow the façade works to be completed. To faciliate this and further limit large deliveries to site, hoists are currently being installed on Stafford Street.

  • Next month, we start the enabling works (groundworks and piling) for the fourth block.
  • Our offices will move to Whitehouse Lane, the main site entrance will move onto Malago Road, and our site welfare facilities will move inside the building.
  • Essential improvements to our site hoarding will also take place, which requires the temporary closure of some parking bays on Little Paradise.
